Samantha Bee: We're often told by the industry of bad advice. Things like keep your voice low if you want to get taken seriously, low-pitched. But also low volume, right? No one wants you to get so connected that you're talking loudly unless you're in a pulpit situation. She says technology actually is busily replicating all of the biases that you are asking us to rethink and perhaps consider undoing.Bee: This book is a public speaking and our relationship to our voice at scale through a social justice lens. It requires that we consider the ways in which not just white supremacy and patriarchy and capitalism have influenced us.
