Aquinas' Theology of Analogies
When Aquinas deals with supernatural realities, for instance, the essence of God. This is back at the beginning of the Priya Pars when he talks about the doctrine of analogy. You have to use the kind of vienegativa or negation to prune away everything that would apply to created being. When we talk about the Eucharist, we need to make some similar analogical moves so that we don't end up saying something that normally applies to created being in a way that would limit what's actually happening.
