I think we're at the end of an era where it was there was a very high barrier to entry to actually building a pass you know whether you were going to build a database service or build some sort of API powered service like Twilio. I think now we're entering a phase where that all that stuff is being democratized thanks to things like Docker. It's actually easier to build a pass that answers a very specialized need in the developer community without having to reinvent the wheel and become a world renowned expert on load balancing between multiple EC2 regions, he says.
