Spotifi - What's the Problem?

Ike: The first time i saw some of the code that supported our a b testing that was in our mobile clients, i honestly didn't even think it was code. I was like, what is this? I don't understand what's going ona. Ike basically, spotifi had built out a micro services architecture and scaled it out to thousands of services effectively. And so we had this really solid imfa structure there, but we didn't have much of a data strategy. It did take a while for us to actually go forward and try to resolve this conflict.
