Blades in the Dark RPG Review
If you're looking for something that's a little bit more D&D-like, there is a variant of Blades in the Dark called Band of Blades. Fantasy Age uses 3d6 instead of a d20 game, but otherwise it feels very much like a D&D game. Fate has the Fate Core, Fate Condensed and Fate Accelerated role-playing games where you can actually do character creation as part of an adventure.
