Putin's Opposition to Military Intervention in Ukraine
I don't think that the national security council of Russia was sitting there and thinking about Russian women in grocery stores being talked to in Ukrainian, which they don't understand. Basically, they had different reasons and many national security ones. Putin has been very opposed to actually military intervening in Ukraine for eight years. And I do think his own words, like his head wants anyone who doesn't regret the passing of the Soviet Union has no heart. But does he want to restore Russian Empire? Who knows? Maybe. Go ahead.
