The Trauma of My Mom's Drinking Problem

My mom has always been a mean drunk and I'm still dealing with the trauma from the things she said and did while I was growing up. She had a drinking problem before this but she became a full-blown alcoholic after. As you can imagine my parents fought a lot because of this. My dad told me that he was in contact with an attorney at that time because the marriage was breaking down. He was going to fight with all he had to get us away from her because she was by no means fit to take care of us.
