Miami Dealing With Record Highs
This should be the peak. July is almost the peak of summer just around everyone temperatures, and then in August this slowly tail off. Even Phoenix and even El Paso is not on pace for the warmest summer ever but New Orleans is. What's unusual about this long duration heat wave is that typically one is on the West Coast or maybe there's a heat wave on the East Coast. This is just elongated all across the southern half of the country.
