The Origins of Gangster Rap
NWA was gangster rap. That's a specific genre. DMX wasn't gangster rap, but sure. But both of those things, I don't think you have to call it Gangster rap. It was something else though. If you listen to ghostface killers all that I got is you. That is not rap. They're right on the line of hard and hip hop. Wu Tang is hard. Oh, Tang's hard. No, but I'm saying, hold on. We fall under that category as well.
