Can Mindful Eating and Macro Tracking Coexist?

Can mindful eating exist within the context of calorie tracking or macro tracking? And the answer is absolutely. I think that the two approaches actually go hand in hand quite well and have a bit of a synergistic relationship. So when we look at macro tracking, we can use macro tracking to get objective data on our dietary intakes. And conversely, with mindful eating, we're getting all of these qualitative insights. We're getting some subjective data that we can use to inform the quantitative insights that we get from macro tracking.
