The Longing for Birds
North American bird populations have declined by nearly three billion since 1970, about 29%. Two-thirds of bird species in North America are at risk of extinction because of global temperature rise. Drew Lanham tries to bring back these birds by creating them again. He cuts them out of plywood, hand-detching the patterns on each and then painting them.
