A lot of people have certain stipulations that they want to put on inheritance like I don't think anyone should have all this money until they turn 40 or it's really important to me that my assets be prioritized for paying for education or health care. There's especially in America we have this rugged individualism this idea that each generation pulls themselves up by their bootstraps and a lot of people who have a lot of wealth definitely want to make sure that their kids and grandkids are taken care of and comfortable but they want them to work for a living as well.
