John wayn gasey was convicted of sexually assaulting a 17-year-old boy. He was released before his court date due to a 'paper work error' Gasey went on to kill at least three more boys in the U.S., including one who died from shock after being tortured so much that he didn't get to control when he died. His victims were bound with yellow nilon rope, and sometimes would find the actual cord still attacheds they were bound while this happened.
