Introduction

The primary purpose of meditation is to become conscious of and familiar with our inner life. The first steps in self-acceptance are not at all pleasant, for what one sees is not a happy sight. But whatever state I am in, I see it as a state of mind to be accepted as it is. Meditation will help you find your bonds, loosen them, untie them. Both pain and pleasure become just experience, painful when resisted, joyful when accepted.
