Milk Tokens: A Unique Fundraising Campaign
In some of the research I did for this interview, including some of your own writing, you mentioned something called milk tokens as a way of raising funds. So were there any sort of unique fundraising campaigns or public awareness campaigns? And so were they found to be successful? The milk tokens is one of my favourite things. You can't really look at British and of old men with regard to aid and the Spanish Civil War without touching on milk tokens. It's a brilliant scheme. It's incredibly successful and it really engages with the public.
