The Two Disciples Going Home

Peter was the only one who went to the tomb in Luke's gospel. When they refer to the tomb, it's always stooping down. And then you get the story of Cleopas and another disciple. Jesus is taking all the scriptures and he's expounding them to these two disciples. He's showing how Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of those scriptures. We're far more likely to make sense of them if we put on the lens of the Savior.
