Men and women can experience social deprivation in different ways. Men do tend to act out a bit more in terms of their being violent, engaging in more violent activities,. But girls ca, can be impacted too. They might become more sexualized, risky sex behavior. Our understanding of gender differences is such that we overlook a lot of these things. Having a a man whos violent, or has a history of violence, and who can be intimidating, is intimidating for a psychologist to deal with on one to one level.
