The Russians' Plan to Invade Crimea

The Russians used the road and rail link over the bridge as one of their main supply routes to the invasion forces. The latest estimates are that although the rail bridge is up and running again, the road link may not be even partially operational until mid September. This will make resupply to the southern Russian front vulnerable on the E-58 highway,. which runs through Maria Pole and Militapole to Kearson for several crucial weeks. So I'm afraid very little sympathy for them. It's not really surprising, is it?
