The Social Engineering of Private School Pupils in the UK

New research shows that private school pupils in the UK are up to a third more likely to get into Cambridge University if they move to a state sixth form. The suggestion really is that people who have paid for their children to have a private education for perhaps 10, 12 years, then at the last minute, descend and move them to their local state comp so that they can get into Cambridge. Abdul: It's kind of like in every other country in the world, if you had a really high ranking university, they would just choose the best students. They wouldn't tie themselves in knots and you could pay to get there. That's how it works.
