The Benefits of Having a White Background in Chrome
I think when everything lives on gray and everything's on the base background, that's hard. All your content has a white card to live on. So it doesn't feel as muddy. Just throw some borders on it because it's more clear. It is more clear. But I understand how you end up in a world where it's noisy. Like the distinction between clear and noisy feels very subtle. And so by just dropping the white background on the sidebar, which is our Chrome, it does kind of disappear.
