There is something cool about being able to not be self-deprecating, but also I'm in a mom bun. When we set an important family role like no hitting or hurting others and the rule is broken, what role if any do consequences play in helping children learn to control their behavior? If setting consequences can be helpful, is there an age range when this tactic becomes useful? We are our kids teachers at the end of the day.
