The Ukraine's Counter-Offensive
Flooding of the Nitro River means Ukrainian tanks and armoured vehicles are now unable to cross it. The timing of all this is interesting because we've started to see Ukraine potentially beginning their counter-offensive, says Nick Paton Walsh. He adds that lower water levels further north may have a miniscule effect on what's happening in eastern Ukraine. "I mean, for the Ukrainians, it's all about surprise, so I don't think we can rule out anything that catches Russia off guard," he said.
