The Relationship Between Strength and Hypertrophy

The best fit model was one that improved non-lanarly as we got closer to failure. The zero to 10 RIR seems to be the most robust analysis if I recall correctly for both. But overall, it's a negligible relationship meaning proximity to failure at a given load doesn't seem to drive strength gains reliably. And most of the time, we are looking at training with loads that are at that point where it probably matters a little bit less.
