Culture is a lagging indicator. You can't actually change culture. What you can do is affect the day-to-day interactions between people because that's what creates your culture. So it's probably the two things as being selfless and trying to make the team work better, not so much yourself. It kind of hits on the automation bit, right? Because you can't automate every problem. Sometimes you need to empower other people to help with those problems in the kind of less automatable bits.
