Two young african american men who grew up in an impoverished black community, were waiting to meet a colleague at the eighteenth street starbucks. As they sat quietly without placing in order, one of the beristas began to scrutinize them. When one of the young men asked for the code to use the rest room, this seemed to be too much. The berista call the philadelphia police, who arrived moments later to arrest the young men for what amounted to sitting in star Starbucks while black.
