TikTok and the US's Ban on the App

Lawmakers in the US are considering a move that would be completely unprecedented to ban the app. TikTok is owned by a Chinese tech company called Bite Dance. It's been banned already on government-issued phones because of fears that China might use it to spy on officials. Marianna will tell us more, but as we are recording this on Thursday afternoon, there's a hearing underway in Congress where the TikTok CEO, Shouji Chu, is testifying.
