Norman Conquest

Normans are very well organized and capable of building these fortifications, which house bodies of knights. But i can't figure out if a norman knight is no better than a frankish knight, then how does one differentiateme? And they build castles too, and they all use the same weapondry. I have this little suspicion that it's the next ta historical trends to come around as we live in an age where society isn't important at all unless it bends specifically to the will of the individual. This the influence of a remarkable individual into an age of strong men might just be coming back.
