Migratory insects can travel hundreds of meters above the ground, and mountain dwelling insects can fly at incredible altitudes. But what about an insect that found its way into an elevator up a higherized building would be able to fly higher than it otherwise would have done? To work out the answer we are going back to our london skyscraper. The sky garden is so high up in the air that you can hear the wind roaring around us while we speak.
