Can We Recover Our Dynamite Extremism?
I began this asking, can we recover our dynamite extremism? Can we do better than the last 15 years? Because it's a very kind of dull for picture. I am optimistic because I do think there is scope for another resurgence of technological progress in the economy. You could be an optimist in terms of thinking that the productivity growth rate might improve or will improve without necessarily thinking that that would end relative economic decline. Relative economic decline is about having productivity growth rates which are slower, lower than your peer group,. whoever it is you're comparing with.
