I got engaged last July, we broke up in November. It was so public even if I wasn't a public figure, it was so public with regards to family. The essence of the book is this notion of how we can get past seeing what we quit or don't quit as a referendum on our worth of our souls. And that's why I was so intrigued with the notion of quitting. What are our reason for being here? Why we get up in the morning? How our ideas are formed? How do we decide that we've had a worthwhile day? And it gets quitting or not.
