Tien Han's Transition to Socialist Art in the 1960s
In his early works in the 1920s, for example, he wrote a lot of plays about poor workers. He also borrowed a lot of socialist,. a global socialist thought, a Japanese socialism, an American individualism and Chinese centralism right? So this idea of theater has a function to meet the needs of the people to describe the inequality of society - which was known in socialist ideology as a class struggle. This has less to do with Chinese Marxism, which Tien Han also switched to later, but that was after he turned left in the 1930s right.
