i think it's very tempting for us to come out the other side from a very challenging, difficult episode and feel ok, i am. But then there's some value in feeling some of the more familiar, everyday feelings that that i once felt. It is signalling my brain that the old constellation of things that i used to care about still exists. And it's just like not knowing whet the right balance is. I don't know if you felt that way, like you chastised yourself. There's something very familiar and comforting, potentially, about worrying about you eat.
When we first talked to Scott (E10 “The Life-Changing Diagnosis”), he was in the midst of treatment for stage four bone cancer at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Texas. Since then, he has successfully completed his treatment and shares what it’s like to adjust to life back home.
