We sacrifice lives and taxpayer dollars with the promise of safety, but we simply aren't safer. There's just simply no way to argue that the world is less dangerous n in the 19 years since the september eleventh attacks. After all our wars, they're more terrorist groups and more terrorist attacks than there were before that. i think that raises another thing that should be talked about in the context of national interest and military power, which is jobs.
