This chapter explores the historical dominance of Western, middle-class women in feminism and the resulting stereotypes faced by women of color, especially Muslim women. It calls for a more inclusive understanding of feminism that prioritizes the voices and experiences of women worldwide, rather than imposing Western viewpoints.
