We Are Not Descended From You, Right?

Researchers have been trying to figure out what happens in the brain when people cheat. The classic algarithm is that e people have a basic motivation to cheat and then we use our executive function, which is more long term strategic planning, to inhibit our primitive desire to cheat. We are not descended from ple who were mostly wilge going along with the social rules, but would maybe bend the rules when necessary in order to survive. If you were pristinely honest living throughout human history, you probably wouldn't survive.
