I mean, the worst elements of it is like, oh my god, somehow undocumented asylum seekers are to blame for our, you know, predicament, which I'm like, oh my god, what nonsense. But yeah, even in the places that pretend to be or play, you know, intellectual conversation on TV, you know, some of the arguments are really superficial, you know,

are you talking about C-SPAN? I'm just kidding. You should hear some of the arguments on immigration. Oh my goodness. That's

the thing, right? I just feel like people like my own friends in the US, the one thing I do tell them is that a lot of the times you'll hear people say that this is unacceptable, you know, well, it's not, you're accepting it by continuing to stay. So don't think about or spend too much energy on bills and what got introduced in Congress and all that. Like if you want to continue staying in the US, the bills and laws are not going to rescue you figure out a way to do it through EB1 or EB1C. Take two steps backwards to go five steps forward, right? Like move out, come back on L1, try EB1C, like do those things. Don't wait for laws to come rescue you or God help us the next president. Yep,

exactly. a solid point. Right? It was great. And I think there's a lot to, I guess, take in with, you know, all the things Sindhu mentioned. Yep. And it's so dynamic. It's changing like this.

It was very refreshing to hear that perspective because all those details, because these are not things you are exposed to on a regular basis. Like moving to Canada without a few years of experience is a recipe for disaster for students is what I've understood. I wouldn't know this. No, would anyone else? You've got these immigration consultants in India just selling this dream and just getting people into these so-called career colleges that Sindhu's mentioned and they're stuck after that essentially, right? I love the episode. I love the conversation. Yeah,

it's great. And like, it's the thing, it provides a lot more nuance and like a more ground level understanding of how it's not just, oh, you know what, let's just think about Canada. Like, you know, it's not that simple. Exactly. There's things you need to consider and it keeps changing so frequently.

And another point that I want to take away is Canada is your alternative to India, not to US. Yep. Sometimes we kind of under the impression that Canada exists to solve all the immigration problems that US has, right? That's a mindset we need to move away from. Exactly. And if you constantly are in that consolation price mindset thinking it's, you know, US tier two, which a lot of us have that you will never be happy. Yeah. So if that pay cut or all those compromises you're going to make is going to weigh you down. She said, maybe Canada is not the right spot for you.
