The idea that there's an equal and opposite echo chamber is untrue. I think the number of outlets and how seriously they're taken by the ordinary person is completely different. If I was to give a normy friend of mine, quote, an article from Fox News, the way they would treat that would be very different than an article from the Guardian. In my experience, they're both equally frequently, equally as inaccurate as each other. And in some cases, the Guardian is more inaccurate and the bullshit that they're peddling is worse.
