Opioids are excellent drugs for end of life care, a cancer related pan and for acute pain. Up until the 19 nineties, that's what they were used for. Manufactures set out to change that. They promoted opioids by exaggerating the importance of untreated pain. Lower dose of opuites and chronic pain patients watcly improve pain. Unfortunately, opiits can make pain worse. And some pain patients actually develop even light touch will be painful to them.
