Luke: We're all gonna go to our respective shows because I don't know if yesine is going to see Eddie Isard's English show or French show or both but we should meet up afterwards. "I just had a paté from Brittany which is ironic because we're in Normandy and apparently while it's made by the the owners of this establishment" He says Yassine was on his podcast recently and they are sort of like partners in comedy? They aren't that formal than the math yeah they're probably just up in tuxedos thisYeah I expect so yeah now we're seeing yesine are you still gonna meet up with yesine later yeah afterwards um I told him
Friday 6 June this year was the 70th anniversary of the D-Day landings in Normandy. My Grandad Dennis was one of the soldiers who landed on the beach that day. Along with thousands of other men he risked his life to fight the Nazis in the 2nd World War. Many of his fellow soldiers did not survive. Last Friday I went to Caen in Northern France to take part in the D-Day commemorations and to see my comedy hero Eddie Izzard performing stand-up in 3 languages. I recorded a podcast during my trip, and some unexpected things happened! Listen to the episode to join me on my adventure.
