The Houston Community College Censure
i'm pretty close to David latt's position on theon refusal, fair enough. A quarrelsome member of a board of trustees was censured and claimed that being censured violated his first amendment rights. The case never had a ghost of a chance in my mind, because a censure is a form of government speech. Argument and counter argument, not litigation, are the weapons available for resolving this dispute.
