Do I Address a Joke Before My Normal Joke?

I like my usual strong opening joke and don't want to replace it with a weaker region based joke just to address where I'm from. There are things that comics do that I get are easy things to fall back on. It is not comedy like written down in 10 commandments or whatever. If you can make material after like after that opening joke about the difference, the audibly difference between you and where you're playing, then do it if it feels natural. Otherwise I wouldn't worry about writing a whole bit to be like, where am I? Where am I playing tonight? Oh, I'm in Alabama. Or when a comic says, well, I'm about ready to get out
