The Sixers' Option to Sign James Harden to an Extension

The Sixers could get away with James Harden on the max in one year. I don't want to pay hard in the max when he's like 35, 36. They've been down that road with rich Paul. If you're doing it just to preserve his $13 million cap hold, knowing he's probably going to get 30 or more as the starting salary of a new deal,. I personally would be surprised if they go that route. You know, optimally, I'd say you get him into a Chris Paul type deal where, you know, it's three or four years and it's less than max. And then  I think you look to explore Tobias Harris trades where,
