How to Stop Drinking Socially

There are more than 17 million Americans who are either alcoholic or abuse alcohol. More men than women, apparently 10% to 3% to 5%. National Institutes of Health define moderate drinking as 14 drinks a week or less for a man in seven drinks a week for a woman. If you have 14 or more drinks a week as a man or seven or more drinks per week as a woman, you are at risk for alcoholism.
