Did France Make a Game of It?

France were on the back foot for long periods against England and Morocco. At one point, I really thought they were just going to settle for a tune or defeat because they're playing so badly. But you do have to give them some credit for the way that they turned it around. Two subs before half time ended up with almost an all new front four on. Only in Bapay survive from that. And ironically, if Deshomp could have made another sub and bought someone on, obviously he can't bring Giroud back on. That's the sort of player I think they are needed on the pitch really to sort of finish the game with.
