How to Structure a Real Estate Partnership

There's the sweat equity kind of the work portion, and then there's the actual capital that goes into the deal. And you should identify who's responsible for bringing what percentage of each one of those different buckets. You guys could say, Hey, we're just going to split everything 5050 down the middle, or maybe one partner is in charge of the down payment and the closing costs, while the other partner is going to carry the debt. There's so many things to look at in that situation.
