How I Got Into Emergency Management
John Pine was a professor at Louisiana State University beginning in 1980 and spent 30 years in Baton Rouge. He directed an undergraduate and graduate program in disaster science we didn't call it emergency management. After serving 30 years at LSU I went to Appalachian State and ran a research institute for the environment energy and economics for seven years and then retired in January 2016. The book that you refer to technology and emergency management was in process we were in the final edits about the time he retired, so it came out a while later but anyway.
