Is This the Way to Save Democracy in Ukraine?
I was somewhat relieved that after Biden got the important stuff out of the way, like fighting surprise resort fees, that he got to the existential struggle to save democracy in Ukraine. And it was just like we've gotten focus groups of middle class, upper middle class families in the suburbs of these three key swing states and they're very mad about surprise resort fees. So let's make sure we get that in there. It doesn't speak to any sort of ideological or cultural commitments whatsoever. Some of the more serious Marxist types would be like, what a tool of late capitalism this guy is using this time to fight for resort fee transparency.
