Since the dawn of the scientific world, we have tended to believe that we are subjects in a world of objects. And so what you're left with when you formulate the scientific world is a world that's stripped of subjectivity. That seems to have psychological consequences and i think it's easier to develop a nihilistic sense of being if you don't see yourself as an object among many. Ut bui'll i'll give it a shot, and then we can move forward with rogers.
