Lasson: We're looking at proverbs in hind sight, you know, two thousand yearsy or more. He says it's a brilliant and amazing foreshadowing of the work christ is going to do on the cross. Lasson: When i sin, i need to get back on the horse and be consistent and faithful in the future. And that will help rectify some of that sinful behavior.
Nobody’s perfect. Intellectually, we know that to be true, but that rings hollow when we come up short and fall into the quicksand of sin. While our sin might create problems with our relationships here on earth, it ultimately offends the God who created us and sent His Son to die for us. Thankfully, He has proven time and again that He is faithful to forgive when we come to Him in humility. As we continue our study of Proverbs 16, we’ll see that God’s trustworthy love and grace can help us course correct so we can become the men He created us to be.
