Theme of the Picture Book
i am the child of jamaican emigrants, and i was born and raised in anchorage, alaska. And so that theme about miy and generation very much a part of my own story, my own life. That is very much a theme that is in my essay collection, and then certainly became the scene that is in this picture book as well. Andyt: I think for me, if i was ever going to write a picture book, it was likely going to fit within some of these themes that i'd already been writing about. It's like yet, the theme's already there, and then we just have to notice it.
